Three colours that I have used before and that I think work well together are Orange, white and Black. The Orange and the Black go together especially nicely and that is why I have picked out this colour palette to represent the colours I want to use. It works well as it shows numerous shades of Oranges and Blacks I might want to use in my three colour colour scheme. I have used this three colour palette before in my preliminary magazine and think it worked well and made the magazine look interesting. However these three colours if used wrongly can give the wrong look to a magazine and they make the placement of pictures hard. It has to be used carefully to avoid a "naff" representation. The basic patterns I used on my preliminary magazine are examples of a poorly used colour scheme. Like I said the colours may have been nice but poor use patterns made it particularly hard to use.
